Corby Power Station Demolition

Scope
Introduction

Corby Power engaged DECOM to carry out HAZDEM and independent budget for demolition and site clearance and writing the scope of work document and arranging asbestos surveys prior to demolition. In addition the client needed advice on the best available technique to decommission a number of underground contaminated pipelines that ran between the off rail site and main power station. The project was carried out on time and DECOM also cost savings from recycling of redundant equipment which brought in funds to pay for the demolition.
