Decom started as a statement against the sloppy professional standards that dominated the field of construction and demolition services 16 years ago this involved colluding to rig tenders. We wanted to set a new, high standard, solving our clients’ problems and protecting our clients against commercially aggressive tactics some companies still employ. We work to ensure that a fair and robust procurement procedure is adopted from the outset, we believe in a culture where integrity is woven into the fabric of everything we do.

DECOM's reputation quickly grew and cemented itself as the new golden standard in the management of construction, decommissioning and demolition projects. Today we continue to build on that legacy, recently being awarded contractor of the year from a major petrochemical company, we strive for excellence in everything we do. Our approach has resulted in repeat business from some of the largest blue chip companies in the world, some have stated they see DECOM as part of their own organisation.

Our people are what make us unique. Rather than outsourcing our construction engineers from questionable outsourcing establishments, we provide them with an environment that supports professional growth. We integrate as part of the clients own team, no one understands the processes and hazards on site better than the owns client team, what DECOM bring is the hazards that contractors are bringing to site in the work they do. DECOM have the experience from working in high hazard industries for many years to highlight the hazards on site to other contractors and co-ordinate all contractors to ensure work is carried out safely ensuring our clients own procedures and rules are followed at all times by every person working on the project.

At Decom, we are strong believers in giving our employees a voice. All members of our team are given the authority to challenge anything and anyone they feel are working in an unsafe manner or causing an unsafe condition or act.
